Welcome to online learning!

Our instructor-facilitated online courses are informative, fun, convenient, and highly interactive. Our instructors are famous for their ability to create warm and supportive communities of learners.

Most courses run for six weeks (with a ten-day grace period at the end). Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office and at any time of the day or night.

New course sessions begin every six weeks. Please visit our Online Instruction Center to see exact start dates for the courses that interest you.

REQUIREMENTS

All courses require Internet access, E-mail, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Firefox web browsers. Some courses may have additional requirements. Please visit our Online Instruction Center for more information.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Visit our Online Instruction Center: www.ed2go.com/sad49

Click the COURSES link, choose the department and course title you are interested in and select the ENROLL NOW button.

Follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your course. Here you will enter your e-mail and choose a password that will grant you access to the Classroom.

When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center and click the CLASSROOM link. To begin your studies, simply log in with your e-mail and password you selected during enrollment.

This lab is for anyone who wants to learn the math concepts needed to pass the HiSET mathematics exam or to increase Accuplacer arithmetic and algebra scores for college. This class has open enrollment and students can enter at any time during the semester.

Human Biology with Lab

This lab-based course is an introduction to the general principles of biology through the study of the human body. Topics include basics of anatomy and physiology, development and aging, genetics and inheritance, immunity and human diseases, evolu-tion, ecology, and human impacts on the environment. This course is designed to meet the Biology prerequisite of most colleges and prepare students to be successful in Anatomy and Physiology. Labs will be virtual._

This course will be completed in an online setting with a blend of face to face learning using Zoom and independent study on Schoology. Sir Isaac Newton observed an apple falling from a tree and came up with basic principles of motion that are still studied today. In addition to motion, physics covers mechanics, electricity, heat, light and sound. These topics provide a solid foundation for many technical occupations. This class is designed to meet the prerequisite for more colleges. Students must have basic algebra prior to taking physics. Labs will be virtual.
